African Print LookBook Reloaded

Hey there and welcome to 2017! I know it’s been nine days already but it still feels new, right! What are your resolutions that you want to achieve come rain or shine? somebody asked. I thought it was sweet but all I know is I want to achieve everything I have in my list. Too ambitious? No honey, that’s how successful people roll and I want to be one of them, I don’t know about you…food for thought. Down to this lovely outfit that I put together for the first day of 2017. Oh yeah! I stepped out in style just like anyone else would. Why? I wanted to set the right tone for my year so I did exactly what I had in mind. If you’ve see my Graduation Outfit  that I had posted last year you’d recognize this particular print, you can view the blog post here. I made two skirts out of this fabric and my tailor did a great job, I couldn’t be happier. One skirt was round and long with gathers at the waistline and this one was a bit shorter with pleats along the waistline. I love them both.

For this particular outfit, I paired this cute pleated skirt with a royal blue sweater top and added come cute long boots. My hairstyle was a braid out whose tutorial will be up on my YouTube channel soon so Subscribe if you haven’t so you don’t miss out. Here are a few pictures that I took, I hope you like it as much. Thank you for stopping by.
