QUICK FISH FILLET-UNDER 10 MIN

Hello! It’s Thursday, do you know what it means? Pizza…?? Wait, is there any pizza joint that has an offer on thursday? I wouldn’t know, maybe Debonairs, not sure.. Ok turns out I have been posting recipes here on thursday consistently without knowing, so I am thinking I might keep the trend, you never know. Today we are featuring fish fillet, and this is a special one from my sweet darling sister (love love to the moon and back). I mentioned here how our family has very talented cooks, sometimes I wonder why none of them never trained to be a chef, it is a mystery. Back to my sweetest sister, not to mention she is an excellent cook, one of the reasons I love her :-). Her meals are super delicious, you will find yourself licking your fingers, literally! I am thinking it might be a good idea to feature her on the blog sometime. I’ll try and convince her and if you are reading this dear, put it into consideration.

Fish fillet meal to cook in under ten minutes (if you know your kitchen so well) . Let’s get down to it shall we?

Quick fish fillet served with no cook fruit-veggies

Ingredients

  • 1 piece Cod fish fillet
  • Lemon juice from 2 lemons
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • Medium sized cucumber
  • 10g cheese
  • 6-10 baby tomatoes
  • A handful of olives

Method

Soak the cod fish fillet in lemon juice over night.

Pre heat the pan, add butter to the pan.

Place the fillets gently on the pan on low heat and let them cook for about five minutes turn the fillet on the other side to cook.

In the meantime, slice the cucumber on a plate and decorate with cheese, baby tomatoes and the olives.

Once the cod fillet is ready put on the plate and serve.

Quick tip: to add more flavour, sprinkle some lemon juice on the vegetables.
